Lacrosse Ready for Pair of A-10 Matchups

GW to play La Salle on Friday, St. Bonaventure on Sunday
WASHINGTON -Â Following its opening weekend of conference play, GW lacrosse will look to secure its first A-10 win when it travels to La Salle on Friday for a 1 p.m. opening draw and hosts St. Bonaventure on Sunday at noon. Both games are available on ESPN+.
LAST TIME OUT
GW dropped its opening pair of A-10 matchups last weekend, falling to Davidson and Richmond, who now sit atop the conference rankings. Phoebe Mullarkey, Katie Lederman and Sophia Watkinson each led with three goals across the two games. Mullarkey and Watkinson pushed their goal tallies to six on the season, while Lederman has registered five.
IN THE RANKINGS
On Sunday vs. Richmond, Megan Patrick tallied a career-high 23 saves, surpassing her previous career-mark of 19. The Aurora, Colo., native is third in the conference averaging 11 saves a game with 99 total stops on the season. Patrick is also fourth in the A-10 with her .495 save percentage, allowing 101 goals across nine appearances.
SCOUTING LA SALLEÂ
La Salle is 3-7 overall and 1-1 in conference play after a narrow 12-11 victory over VCU on Sunday. Emily Johnston leads the Explorers with 26 scores this season, including a pair in the win vs. the Rams. Johnston and Maddie Henderson lead La Salle with 15 caused turnovers.
A LOOK AT THE BONNIESÂ
St. Bonaventure (1-7, 0-2 A-10) dropped its conference opener matchups last weekend vs. UMass and Saint Joseph's. The Bonnies' lone win came in a double-overtime 18-17 victory at Detroit Mercy on March 20. Kassi Hogan and Abby Hiltz lead the team with 11 and 10 goals, respectively.
