Walker scores for the third-straight game
WASHINGTON – GW lacrosse couldn't find offensive success on Saturday, falling at Georgetown, 19-3.
Katelyn Walker scored a pair of goals to extend her scoring streak to three-straight games. Kendall Lambert tallied the other score for GW, her second goal of the season. Lambert also recorded one assist.
GW's goals came in the first half as the Hoyas held GW scoreless in the final two quarters. Georgetown took 15 shots in the second frame, scoring six times to hold an 11-3 advantage at the break. The Hoyas tacked on eight more goals in the final 30 minutes of play to snap their two-game losing streak to improve to .500 on the season.
