Men's Basketball Releases A-10 Pairings for 2021-22 Season

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – The Atlantic 10 Conference on Thursday released schedule pairings for the 2021-22 men's basketball season with GW slated to play home-and-home series against Dayton, Duquesne, Fordham, George Mason and Rhode Island.
As part of the 18-game league slate, the Colonials will also play host to Davidson, La Salle, Richmond and St. Bonaventure. GW will make road trips to Massachusetts, Saint Joseph's, Saint Louis and VCU. Dates and game times will be released at a later date.
Third-year head coach Jamion Christian has several experienced players on his roster, including junior James Bishop, who finished second in the A-10 in scoring last season with 19.1 points per game while ranking in the top five with 5.1 assists per game. Versatile DC-product Ricky Lindo Jr. also returns after averaging a double-double with 11.4 points and 10.7 rebounds per game in seven games while swiping more than two steals per contest.
The 2020-21 roster also features promising big men Noel Brown and Hunter Dean as returnees, plus incoming transfers Joe Bamisile (Virginia Tech), Ira Lee (Arizona) and Brendan Adams (UConn). Local product Brayon Freeman will also join the Buff and Blue after committing last fall, as will Daniel Nixon out of White Plains, N.Y.
