Women’s Tennis Ready for Two Weekend Matches

GW will visit Davidson on Saturday, Radford on Sunday
WASHINGTON - The GW women's tennis team will play in a pair of matches this weekend when it travels to Davidson on Saturday and Radford on Sunday. Saturday's contest is scheduled for 10 a.m. and first serve on Sunday is at 1 p.m.
LAST TIME OUT
The team earned its first Atlantic 10 victory last week by topping Revolutionary Rival, George Mason, 6-1.
GW quickly secured the doubles point behind a pair of 6-3 wins from Stella Wiesemann and Sarah Bodewes and Alexis Nelson and Linsday Thompson.
In singles play, GW earned all of its five victories in two sets. Wiesemann leads the team in singles play with five wins.
SCOUTING DAVIDSON
The Wildcats are 5-11 overall and 1-1 in conference play. Josie Schaffer leads the team in singles play with eight wins. Schaffer and her partner Nicole Krykanov lead the team with five wins in doubles play.
READY FOR RADFORD
Radford sits at 5-9 overall and 3-2 in Big South conference play. Radford will host Gardner-Webb on Saturday before welcoming the Buff and Blue on Sunday.
