Golf Heads to Orlando for A-10 Championship

GW finished the regular season tied for seventh overall in the conference
WASHINGTON – The GW golf team will open play in the Atlantic 10 Championship on Friday at the Nicklaus Course at the Reunion Resort in Orlando.

The Buff and Blue tee off with VCU on Friday at 11 a.m. Play continues on Saturday and concludes with the third and final round on Sunday. Live scoring will be available through Golfstat.

SEASON REWIND
The team competed in seven tournaments this season and wrapped up the regular season playing its best golf of the spring. GW's season-best round came in the final 18 holes at the Mountaineer Invitational on April 13, with the team scoring a one-under-par 287 to secure a ninth-place finish. The team earned a season-best fourth-place showing at the Golden Horseshoe Intercollegiate two weeks earlier with a 32-over 872 team score. In the same tournament, Ty Sullivan placed seventh overall with his season-best four-over-par 214. Jakub Hrinda finished in a tie for tenth overall with a six-over 216.
