Women’s Tennis Set for Pair of A-10 Matches

GW will face Richmond on Saturday, Fordham on Sunday
WASHINGTON – The George Washington women's tennis team will begin conference play this weekend when it travels to Richmond on Saturday for a 2 p.m. match and Fordham on Sunday with first serve slated for 2:30 p.m.
LAST TIME OUT
GW dropped its most recent match at James Madison, 7-0. Stella Wiesemann and Alexis Nelson secured their third doubles victory of the season.
In singles play, Wiesemann and Nelson lead the team with four victories apiece.
SCOUTING THE SPIDERS
Richmond sits at 2-3 overall and 1-1 in conference play. The Spiders opened conference play with a 6-1 victory over Duquesne. Richmond fell to VCU on Thursday, 5-2. GW hosted Richmond the last time these two teams met in 2019, with the Spiders coming out with the 4-1 victory.

The Rams will welcome GW to Legacy Tennis Courts in Philadelphia, Pa. for its designated home match.
