Women's Rowing Opens Season Saturday

Colonials return to action for first time in 680 days
WASHINGTON -Â GW women's rowing is set to return to the water for the first time in 680 days on Saturday afternoon, taking to the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia.
GW has not competed due to the COVID-19 pandemic since finishing second at the Atlantic 10 Championship in May 2019. That day, the Buff & Blue went four-for-four in medal performances for the third straight season to finish the day with its best performance in program history.
GW will compete this weekend against Rutgers and Saint Joseph's. A full schedule and boat lineups are below.Â
