Women's Rowing Tops Saint Joseph's in Season Opener

All three Colonial boats edge conference opponent
PHILADELPHIA -Â Competing for the first time in nearly two years, GW women's rowing kicked off its 2021 campaign by dispatching of A-10 rival Saint Joseph's on Saturday afternoon on the Schuylkill River.
The Varsity 8 boat topped the Hawks by six seconds with the 2V8 pulling ahead to win by 17 seconds and the V4 earning a 32-second triumph.Â
Additionally, the Colonials opened the day by competing against #12 Rutgers, and despite falling in all three races, posted strong times against their nationally ranked foe.
