Women’s Tennis to Face Howard on Sunday

WASHINGTON – The George Washington women's tennis team will head to Howard on Sunday for a 1 p.m. match against the Bison.
GW dropped its most recent match against Delaware, 5-2. Freshman Stella Wiesemann and junior Alexis Nelson recorded their third straight singles victories for GW.
Since 2008, GW has won all nine of its matchups against the Bison. The last time the two teams met was on March 12, 2020, which also marked the final match of the abbreviated 2020 season. GW came out with the 5-2 victory.
Howard will begin its 2021 spring season on Sunday.

GW will prepare for back-to-back road matches next week traveling to James Madison on Tuesday for a 1 p.m. start and Loyola Maryland on Wednesday for a 3 p.m. match.
