GW is set for its second tournament of the year

TEEING OFF: The GW golf team heads to the Peach State to compete in the Invitational at Savannah Harbor. Play is set for Saturday and Sunday.

COURSE:
The Club at Savannah Harbor- Championship Tees

AT THE TOURNAMENT: Austin Peay, Belmont, Florida A&M, George Mason, Longwood, Mercer UNCG, Ohio, South Carolina Beaufort, Tennessee Tech, Valparaiso, Villanova, VCU, Western Carolina and Wright State will be the 15 other teams at the tournament.

THE BUFF AND BLUE: The Buff and Blue lineup features Luis Preciado, Hugo Riboud, Ty Sullivan, Cliff Thompson and Jakub Hrinda.

At the Oldfield Invitational, Riboud led GW by finishing No. 17 overall with a final 4-over par 220.

Hrinda is set to make his sophomore debut this weekend. In the fall of 2019, Hrinda averaged a 75.80 (15 rounds).

GW will tee off in a shotgun start (36 holes) Saturday at 8 a.m., followed by another shotgun start on Sunday at 8 a.m. for the team's final round.
