A Message from GW Women's Tennis Head Coach Torrie Browning

"Unfortunately our season has come to an abrupt end. However, the health and safety of everyone is the number one priority. That doesn't take away all that we accomplished. We learned a lot this year about ourselves and our team. We challenged ourselves on and off the court and did our best to represent the program and entire GW community with pride and excellence. Â
We are sad that our seniors Melis and Jiaqing did not get to complete their season. Their contributions to the program will always be remembered and it was a pleasure being able to work with them. They will truly be missed and we wish them all the best moving forward.
We are also sad that our Assistant Coach, Gussie O'Sullivan, was not able to finish out the rest of the semester as this is her last semester with the program. She is graduating in May with a Master's in Sport Management. We can't thank her enough for all of her hard work and dedication to the program. Gussie was amazing to work with and we wish her all the best in her future endeavors. She will truly be missed.
We want to thank all of the parents for their continued support of the program. We also want to thank our athletic department and university for their support and tremendous leadership during this time. As we continue to navigate through these challenging times, we hope everyone continues to stay safe and healthy. We wish all the best for everyone around the world. We will continue to Raise High and will continue to be a visible display of discipline and excellence."
