Sailing Opens Spring With GW Team Race

SETTING SAIL: The GW sailing team gets its spring season started this weekend by hosting the GW Team Race at the Washington Sailing Marina in Alexandria, Va.
STRONG FALL: GW sailing had a strong finish to the fall season with a fifth-place finish at the MAISA Women's Fall Dinghy Championship, and the coed squad took sixth overall at the MAISA Conference Championship, the War Memorial.
ONWARD: GW will look to continue its upward trend over the last few years after finishing fourth at the 2019 ICSA Women's National Championship. The result was GW's best finish at Nationals, erasing its previous best of 10th-place in 2016.
The coed squad just missed out on Nationals after a 10th-place finish at the America Trophy.Â
