The Colonials downed Dayton and Oakland on Monday

WESTON, Fla. – The GW men's golf team claimed victories over conference foe Dayton and Oakland on Monday to advance to the final of the Atlantic 10 Match Play Championship at Weston Hills Country Club.

The Colonials will go head-to-head with Florida Atlantic on Tuesday morning in the championship matches, marking the first time GW has reached the final since the event's inception four years ago.

Logan Lowe picked up victories in both of his matches on Monday, while all six Colonials contributed at least a half point on the day. First-year Luis Alfonso Preciado was also undefeated with an all-square finish vs. Dayton and a victory vs. Oakland to claim 1.5 points on the day.
