HOT HOT HOT: The Colonials have now won three games in a row, their fourth winning streak of at least three games this season. Additionally, the Colonials are 9-1 in their last ten games dating back to March 17.
GIVE ME A BREAK: With GW facing a bye from Atlantic 10 conference play, this weekend's series represents the final non-conference series of the regular season.
STREAKING: Isaiah Pasteur extended his team-best hit streak to 15 straight games with a base hit on Wednesday night, but he is not the only Colonials sporting an impressive run at the plate.
Sophomore Steven Barmakian has hit safely in the past 10 games while D'Alessandro carries a six-game hit streak into the weekend. Osis also sports a reached-base streak that is 11 games long.
ON THE RUN: GW is one of the top teams in the nation when it comes to stolen bases. The Colonials rank second in the A-10 and hold national top-15 rankings in both stolen bases (55) and swipes per game (1.96). Six players have at least six stolen bases on the year with Metz (14-for-16) and Pasteur (11-for-12) leading the way.
SERIES HISTORY: This weekend's series marks the first time the two programs will meet.
SCOUTING NCCU: The Eagles enter the weekend with a 20-11 record and are 6-6 in the MEAC, but are just 2-4 over the last six games.
