Golf Closes Fall Season at Ka’anapali Classic Collegiate Invitational

The Colonials are in Hawai’i for their final tournament of the fall
TEEING OFF: The GW golf team will close its fall season in style this weekend as it competes in the Ka'anapali Classic Collegiate Invitational at the Royal Ka'anapali Golf Course in Maui. Play gets underway Friday and continues through Sunday.
TOURNAMENT FACTS
Dates: Friday, November 2 – Sunday, November 4
Format: Three-days; 54 holes (18 holes each day)
Time: 8:30 a.m. HT shotgun each day
Course: Ka'anapali Golf Club; Royal Ka'anapali Course
Location: Lahaina, Maui
Yardage (Par): 6,700 (71)

GOING LOWE: Senior Logan Lowe heads into the final tournament of the fall season with the lowest stroke average in his career. The California native has shot par or better in nine of his 10 competitive rounds for a 70.10 scoring average and he's finished in the top five in three of four tournaments played. He earned Atlantic 10 Player of the Week honors after his last outing, a T-5th finish at the Elon Phoenix Invitational.
NOTABLE NEWBIES: A pair of first-years have been in GW's lineup and performed well throughout the fall. Luis Preciado (Mexico City) ranks second on the team with a 74.00 scoring average and owns the low round by a Colonial this season with a 66 during the Marshall Invitational in September. Logan Othmer ranks fourth on the squad with a 75.00 average.
