Lowe Leading Golf at VCU Janney Invitational

RICHMOND, Va. -- Logan Lowe led the way for the GW golf team in the opening 36 holes of the VCU Janney Invitational at the Country Club of Virginia by twice carding 71 on Monday.
At 2-under par, Lowe is in a tie for 15th and just a stroke out of the top 10, while Conor Purcell of Charlotte leads the field at 8-under. As a team, the Colonials are in 10th place at 5-over par 581 (292-289). West Virginia is in first place with a 15-under 561 (286-275), with the third and final round set to get underway Tuesday morning.
