Cichan has a one-shot lead heading into the final round

HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. -- After shooting under-par in the first two rounds of the George Mason Mission Inn Spring Spectacular, redshirt junior Christian Cichan of the GW golf team holds a one-shot lead heading into the final round.

Cichan turned in a 71 and 70 at the par 72 El Campeon Golf Course on Saturday to get to 3-under par, a shot ahead of Peyton White of TCU and Stefano Mazzoli of Ohio at 2-under. Teammate Logan Lowe is also in contention, sitting tied for sixth at 2-over par after a 70 and 76.

As a team, the Colonials are in 12th place. The final round is set to begin with a shotgun start at 8:15 a.m. ET Sunday. Scoring can be followed here.
