LEESBURG, Va. - Junior Madison Yerke clinched All-Conference honors with a 14th-place finish to lead the George Washington women's cross country team to a sixth-place finish at Saturday's Atlantic 10 Championship at Oatlands Plantation.
Notes

GW equaled last season's championship performance by placing sixth out of 14 teams with 200 points.
The Colonials won the tiebreaker over Fordham by virtue of having the highest-placing top finisher.
Junior Madison Yerke earned Atlantic 10 All-Conference honors with her 14th-place finish in 18:19.10.
Four harriers (Yerke, Halley Brown, Suzanne Dannheim, Lesley Fatica) put forth their best-ever A-10 Championship placement.
Freshman Margaret Coogan, who had never competed in cross country prior to her rookie collegiate season, set a new personal record for the 5K in 19:30.00.
