Indoor Track Set to Contend at A-10 Indoor Championships Friday and Saturday

WASHINGTON- Championship season is upon GW's indoor track cohort, and the Revolutionaries will send 18 student-athletes to compete at the A-10 indoor championships held in Virginia Beach, Va., across Friday and Saturday. Live results for the entirety of the championship can be found here, and the meet will also be carried on ESPN+.Â

REGULAR SEASON SUCCESS
GW's winter season saw success both on the track and in two field events. With the addition of jumper Megan Heidebrecht to the roster this season, the graduate student has earned the No. 9 spot in the long jump and the No. 4 spot in the triple jump on the A-10 leaderboard for her regular season performances.Â
Sophomore Hadley Mahoney currently sits on the conference leaderboard in three events: No. 7 in the 3000m run, No. 7 in the mile and No. 17 in the 1000m run. This weekend, Mahoney will race in the mile and as part of the 4x800 relay team.Â
Distance runners Sarah Mitchell and Kaitlyn Segreti each hold a spot on conference's 5k performance list, with Mitchell sitting ninth and Segreti sitting 17th. Last season, Mitchell finished second in the 5k at the 2025 indoor championships with a time of 16:39.73.Â
In the hurdles, Kamryn Holness set a new program-best mark of 9.11 seconds at George Mason's Patriot Games. Her time is good for 19th overall in the conference.Â
