WASHINGTON - The George Washington women's tennis squad hosts Atlantic 10 foe Davidson on Sunday afternoon at the indoor Southeast Tennis Center for a 1 p.m. contest.
The Colonials (3-2) look to bounce back from a loss against FIU last weekend in Georgia. Sophomores Teodora Radosavljevic and Marie-Louise Decamps and freshman Sara Grubac are all tied with a team-best 4-1 singles record this spring.
Davidson (5-2) will serve as the first of six A-10 opponents GW will face during the regular season. The Wildcats will visit George Mason on Saturday before heading to the District on Sunday.
Davidson has won its last two matches, most recently defeating Wingate, 6-1, on Sunday. Gabrielle Centenari took singles and doubles victories en route to an A-10 Rookie of the Week nod. Anna Feaster, Elaina Cummer and Ava Todd each own 5-2 solo marks to lead the Wildcats, while Feaster and Ally Sexton hold a team-best 3-1 doubles record.
The Wildcats lead the all-time series with the Colonials, 2-0. Last season, Radosavljevic downed Cummer at the top singles spot, but Davidson claimed the victory, 6-1.
First serve is slated for 1 p.m. at the Southeast Tennis Center.
