Winners in six of their last eight matches, the George Washington tennis team returns to SETLC for the final time this season, hosting Delaware State on Saturday at 12:00 p.m. Prior to the match, the Revolutionaries will honor Katya Balin, the program's lone senior, with the ceremony slated to begin at 11:30 a.m.

GW is coming off a successful 2-0 trip to Rhode Island, collecting wins over New Haven and URI. The weekend was highlighted by a 4-3 comeback win over the Rams, moving GW to 3-2 in A-10 matches this season. Trailing 3-0 after losing the doubles point and the first two singles matches, GW rattled off four consecutive wins in singles to seal the win. None was bigger than first-year Devika Manu's No. 6 singles match, as she faced match point on three separate occasions but emerged victorious for the Buff & Blue.
Â
Following Saturday's match, GW will head to Orlando, Fla., and the UTSA National Campus to compete in the 2026 Atlantic 10 Championship. The tournament will run from April 22-25, with GW's first opponent, date and match time expected sometime this Sunday. The Hornets are coming off a rare tie against Mount St. Mary's on Wednesday, playing The Mount to a 3-3 draw in Emmitsburg. Saturday's match is also the final regular season contest for the Hornets as they will compete in the MEAC Championship from April 23-25.
