Senior goalkeeper Mackenzie Jones recorded seven saves between the pipes while Delaware keeper Alex Zagura stopped five shots.
Lyons and McKenzie Rafferty each notched a hat trick for the Blue Hens and Shannon Hawley tallied a game-high six points on two goals and four assists.
