GW Women's Tennis Heads to Hokie Fall Invite

WASHINGTON - A trio of GW women's tennis players will head to Blacksburg, Va., this weekend for the Hokie Fall Invitational, from Friday, Oct. 3 through Sunday, Oct. 5. Junior Lana Robins and freshmen Marie-Louise Decamps and Teodora Radosavljevic will compete at the three-day event at Virginia Tech's Burrows-Burleson Tennis Center.
GW will be joined at the 21st annual event by players from James Madison, Liberty, Marshall, Morehead State, Penn State, Radford, UMBC, VCU, host Virginia Tech and Wofford. The invitational is made up of five singles flights and three doubles flights, and first serve is set for 9 a.m. on Friday.
Radosavljevic will put her undefeated records on the line this weekend as she enters the invitational with an overall singles mark of 4-0 and a doubles record of 3-0 through the first two events of the season - the Towson Tiger Classic and the Georgetown Classic. Classmate Decamps has produced a singles record of 2-1 and a doubles mark of 1-1 in her first two matches in the Buff and Blue. This weekend will be Robins' fall debut after earning her second straight postseason honor as an Atlantic 10 All-Conference First Team selection this past spring.
