GW Baseball Players Compete In Summer Leagues

WASHINGTON, D.C.- The George Washington baseball team is well represented around the country with 19 student-athletes participating in 11 different summer leagues
Highlights include senior Stephen Oswald being named to the Valley League All-Star game and sophomore Craig Lejeune allowing just one earned run in over 18 innings of work for the Utica Brewers of the New York Collegiate Baseball League.
GW capped the 2011 season with a 3-2 victory over A-10 rival Temple on May 21 to finish 19-36 overall and 9-15 in the A-10. The Colonials return eight starters and 22 letterwinners in 2012.
