Women's Tennis Open ITA Atlantic Regional at ODU

NORFOLK, VA - GW women's tennis will participate in the ITA Atlantic Regional tournament Thursday, October 21, at Old Dominion. The Atlantic Region is comprised of schools from Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, Virginia and the District of Columbia.
Sophomore Mimi Hamling and freshman Julia Blakeley will open the tournament in the singles qualifying bracket to earn a place in the main singles draw. Hamling will take on Nika Khmolovska from ODU, while Blakeley will take on West Virginia's Katie Haught.
Junior Jacqueline Corba will take on Penn State's Amy Simidian at 4:00 p.m.
In doubles action, the Colonials will have two pair competing. Blakeley and Hamling will team up to take on William & Mary duo Tori Ford and Sydney Smith. Leah Pascarella and Corba will take on Richmond's Elizabeth Sims and Kelly Tidwell.
