Hogan Leads George Washington at Paul Short Invite

LEHIGH, PA - Senior Megan Hogan led the George Washington Colonials women's cross country team for the second straight race after she finished fifth overall at the Paul Short Invitational on the campus of Lehigh University. Hogan finished with a time of 20:05, which was seven seconds off of the pace of winner Neely Spencer from Shippensburg University.
Junior Jessica Stern finished second for the Colonials and 68th overall with a time of 21:41 and senior Meaghan Smith finished 182nd overall and third for the Colonials.
The Colonials now will have two weeks to prepare for the Penn State National Invitational, which will take place on Friday, October 16th. The race is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. and is the final race for the Colonials before they head to Saint Louis for the A-10 Championships on October 31st.
