WASHINGTON, DC - George Washington University's baseball game at James Madison University, originally scheduled for this Wednesday, has been postponed due winter weather conditions at Long Field/Mauck Stadium. The game has been rescheduled for Tuesday, May 15, at 4:00 p.m.
The Colonials are 0-3 after being swept by #7 Virginia over the weekend. The Dukes of JMU, who have yet to play a game this season after having both games with Fordham cancelled because of weather, are set to participate in the Buckeye Classic this weekend in Tampa, FL.
The two teams are also scheduled to play at GW on April 11. James Madison leads the all-time series, 32-14.
George Washington continues their schedule this weekend when they travel to the University of Maryland for a three-game series with the Terrapins. After taking two of three from the University of Central Florida over the weekend, Maryland is 4-2 overall on the year. Friday's opener is at 3:00 p.m. Both Saturday and Sunday's games are set for a 1:00 p.m. start time. All games will be played at Shipley Field.
