James Madison Downs GW 13-5 In Baseball

James Madison scored seven runs in the first three innings, and GW could not catch the Dukes. Junior designated hitter Adam Belicic(Harrisburg, PA/Central Dauphin) led the way for the Colonials by hitting a three-run homer in the six inning. Junior catcher Eric Mitchell(Thurmont, MD/DuBois Area) drove in the other two runs with a two-out single up the middle in the eighth inning.
Sophomore Chris Worth (North Arlington, NJ/North Arlington) suffered the loss, dropping his record to 0-3 on the season, while James Madison's Adam Wynegar (3-0) got the win.
The Colonials return to action this weekend when they meet LeMoyne University in a three game series at Barcroft Park in Arlington, VA. Saturday's double-header will begin at noon, with the final game of the series beginning at noon on Sunday.
