Marissa Gallo came to GW in 2021 and provides athletic training services to the Volleyball and Tennis programs. Marissa came to GW from Professional Physical Therapy - Long Island where she worked as a Clinical Outreach Athletic Trainer and served the Sacred Heart Academy Athletics Department. Prior to that she was a Graduate Assistant at St. John’s University and worked with Women’s Volleyball, Men’s & Women’s Fencing, and Men’s Tennis. During her time at St. John’s, Marissa saw the Red Storm win the 2019 Big East Women’s Volleyball Championship and completed her Masters of Professional Studies in Sports Management.
A graduate of Hofstra University with a degree in Athletic Training, Marissa is a licensed and board certified athletic trainer, and holds certifications from RockTape, Precision Nutrition and the American Red Cross.
