Sullivan assisted Head Coach Jeremy Williams and the Revolutionaries to a 4-11-3 overall record in her first year, making strides towards creating an identity within the program and shifting the culture towards the future.
Sullivan played four seasons at GW from 2009-12, graduating with a degree in psychology with a concentration in cognitive neuroscience and a minor in mind-brain studies. She exemplified leadership both on the field, captaining the team her senior year, and in the classroom, earning Women's Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 2012-2013.
Since graduating, Sullivan has built a notable career in coaching and player development.
In the collegiate game, Sullivan most recently contributed to the Miami Hurricanes soccer program, arriving in Coral Gables ahead of the 2022 season. Before her time in the ACC, Sullivan served as a volunteer assistant coach at Stanford University from 2018 to 2019. Sullivan played an integral part in the Cardinal's exceptional record, including consecutive Pac-12 Championships and a National Championship in 2019.
In the youth soccer landscape, Sullivan coached for Albion Las Vegas Soccer Club in Nevada, Mountain View Los Altos Club in California, and Washington Spirit Development Academy and McLean Youth Soccer in Virginia.
Prior to her full time coaching career, Sullivan earned her certification in early childhood education and taught with KIPP:DC, a high performing public charter here in the Nation's Capital. She also conducted research for the American Psychological Association on social-emotional development. Sullivan currently holds her National Youth License, TOVO T1, and USSF B License.
Known for her dedication and mentorship, Sullivan has supported players from youth levels to those competing in professional ranks globally. During the pandemic, she developed and co-chaired the Girls Academy Advisory Panel, advocating for player representation in a newly-minted league.
Sullivan's family has a strong sports background, with both of her parents inspiring her approach to coaching. Her younger sister, Andi Sullivan Skundrich, currently plays for the Washington Spirit. A dedicated supporter, Sullivan can often be found cheering on her sister at Audi Field here in Washington, D.C.
