Chambers was a two-year captain and starting point guard for the University of Pennsylvania from 2014-16 and helped guide the Quakers to back-to-back Ivy League Championships. She started all 59 games she played in while at Penn and averaged 6.9 points, 2.9 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game.
A native of Belmar, New Jersey, was the 2016-17 recipient of the Athletic Impact Award while at Penn, as well as the George H. Frazier Award for the student-athlete with the highest GPA.
Prior to Penn, Chambers played for two seasons at Monmouth University and appeared in 63 games over two seasons. She was a member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference All-Academic Team in 2013-14.
She played scholastically at St. Rose High School where she won a state title as a senior and was a two-time all-county honoree as well as the Jersey Sporting News Female Basketball Player of the Year in 2011-12.
