Stephenson joins the women’s basketball coaching stafffor the 2020-21 season after arriving in Foggy Bottom in 2019 as a graduate transfer from Wake Forest. Despite battling injuries, the Prince George, Va., native appeared in 24 games, starting 16 for the Buff & Blue. While playing 20.0 mpg, she averaged nearly 5.0 ppg and earned the Coaches Award for her efforts in the 2019-20 season.
Stephenson, who took part in the WBCA’s “So You Want To Be A Coach” program this spring, is pursuing her graduate degree in Sport Management.
As part of her duties, Stephenson will be responsible for game and practice film and all other associated projects. She will also assist with basketball operations.
