Atlantic 10 Announces 2026-27 Women’s Basketball Schedule
10/6/2026 11:30:00 AM | Women's Basketball
Headlined by four games on national television, the George Washington women's basketball Atlantic 10 schedule was released on Tuesday. The slate features 18 games, including nine games inside the Charles E. Smith Center, and home-and-home matchups with La Salle, Saint Joseph's, George Mason, Fordham and Rhode Island.
Coming off an impressive run to the WNIT Great Eight last March, Head Coach Ganiyat Adeduntan and her staff look to build off the groundwork laid during their first season at the helm. Conference play once again gets underway in early December, with a matchup against Duquesne scheduled for Dec. 2 at home. A theme across the conference in recent years, all teams will play one A10 opponent on Dec. 2, before the rest of the conference calendar picks back up later that month.
GW makes consecutive trips to Philly when conference play resumes, visiting La Salle on Dec. 30 and Saint Joseph's on Jan. 3. The Revolutionaries' trip to Hawk Hill is the first of four national TV games and one of three carried on CBS Sports Network, joining GW's home meeting with Davidson on Jan. 10 and a road bout against Rhode Island on Jan. 17. The Buff & Blue's trip to George Mason on Feb. 7 will be carried on a to-be-determined ESPN Network. Four national TV contests are the most for GW since the 2017-18 season, which had seven, including three postseason games.
GW's home schedule also includes St. Bonaventure (Jan. 6), Fordham (Jan. 13), VCU (Jan. 20), La Salle (Jan. 30), Saint Joseph's (Feb. 14), George Mason (Feb. 20) and Rhode Island (Feb. 24).
The road slate sees the Revolutionaries also make trips to Saint Louis (Jan. 23), Dayton (Jan. 27), Loyola Chicago (Feb. 10), Fordham (Feb. 17) and Richmond (Feb. 27).
All tip times and television designations will be announced at a later date, including games slated to air locally on Monumental Sports Network. The Atlantic 10 Championship returns to the Henrico Sports and Events Center for the fourth consecutive year from March 3-7.
Ticket packages for the 2026-27 season are now available, including season tickets, flex plans and group experiences. Flex plan holders will receive an exclusive window to redeem their vouchers for the games they want to attend before single-game tickets go on sale to the public this Friday.
GW faculty and staff can take advantage of special offers throughout the season. Fans attending the Nov. 2 home opener doubleheader can also purchase a special ticket package that includes a commemorative GW basketball mug. Visit GWsports.com/tickets for more information.
The Revolutionaries return five players from last year's squad, including Gabby Reynolds, who enters the year as one of the A10's premier players. The junior guard was an all-conference third team selection a year ago and finished ninth in the league in scoring at 14.6 ppg. Sara Lewis, Kamari Sims, Tanah Becker and Jaeda Wilson all return for GW as well.
GW also bolstered its roster with eight newcomers, including five transfers and three first-years. The transfer group brings a combined 293 games of collegiate experience and has amassed 1,985 career points.
