5/8/2026 4:14:00 PM | Women's Basketball
Head Coach Ganiyat Adeduntan and the George Washington women's basketball program have announced the addition of five players through the transfer portal. The newest members of the Buff & Blue join a group of five returners, as well as three first-years, who will arrive on campus this summer.
"I'd like to commend my staff on their relentlessness in helping us secure this group of transfers," said Adeduntan. "We're really excited about the five transfers joining our team because they bring the toughness, competitiveness and character that align perfectly with what we're building. Combined with our returning players and incoming first-years, we believe this roster will elevate our program with the ability to impact the game in every area while fitting exactly how we want to play — up-tempo, disciplined, selfless and smart. Their experience, versatility and competitive spirit will raise the level of GW Women's Basketball both on and off the court. Just as important, they are high-caliber young women who take pride in the classroom and will represent our program, Foggy Bottom and the entire DC community in a first-class manner."
Joining the fold next season are Anne Bair (Colgate), Amor Harris (Longwood), N'na Konate (Campbell), Alicia Newell (Richmond) and Cam Rust (Seton Hall). The group brings a combined 293 games of collegiate experience to GW and has scored 1,985 career points.
