Amber Roundtree joined GW in October 2024 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer and is currently responsible for the softball program. Roundtree came to GW from the athletic training program at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga as a recent graduate with a Master's of Science in Athletic Training. There, she gained experience in clinical settings such as high school in Ringgold, GA, Division III baseball at Covenant College, and Division II softball at Clark Atlanta University.
Roundtree earned her Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from Charleston Southern University, with a minor in history. Her clinic interests are concussions, shoulder, and gait-control rehabilitation and orthopedic surgery. Eventually, she wants to gain a certification to become an orthopedic surgical assistant.
