Avery Nevin is in his first year as a graduate assistant at GW pursuing his masters degree in strength and conditioning. He is responsible for strength and conditioning programs for baseball, lacrosse, water polo and golf. Avery came to GW from Fairfield University, where he designed and implemented programs for men’s soccer, volleyball, and women’s rugby. Prior to working at Fairfield, Nevin interned at Yale University where he assisted with football, basketball, lacrosse, ice hockey and all other varsity athletics. A graduate of Rowan University with a degree in exercise science, he also holds a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
