Head Coach Jeremy Williams and the George Washington women's soccer program have announced the addition of Marley Gerber to the team's 2026 roster. Gerber arrives in Foggy Bottom after two seasons at USC Upstate.
"We're excited to welcome Marley to GW," Williams said. "She brings a lot of experience from her time at USC Upstate, along with a drive and hunger to improve and develop. She'll be a great addition to our goalkeeping unit."
A 5-5 goalkeeper from Winter Park, Fla., Gerber started in 12 games across two seasons with the Spartans. Gerber tallied 36 saves as a sophomore in 2025, turning away 77.6% of the shots she faced. She finished with a 5-4-2 record in net, allowing just 1.07 goals per game on average.
During Gerber's tenure, the Spartans collected a 2024 Big South Regular Season and Tournament Championship, advancing to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history. The program followed it up with a runner-up finish in the 2025 Big South Tournament, falling to High Point in PKs during the championship match.
A multi-sport athlete during her time at Winter Park High School, Gerber spent time as captain for the soccer, tackle football and flag football programs, while also competing in varsity golf. She helped lead the school's tackle and flag football teams to a combined five district titles while also receiving the Energizer Award for her efforts on the pitch as a soccer player. Gerber intends to major in business at GW.
