WASHINGTON - GW gymnastics returns to action this Friday at 7 p.m. as the Revolutionaries take on NC State, New Hampshire and Yale in a quad meet live on ACCNX. Fans can also follow along with Virtius. The meet will serve as NC State's Mental Health Awareness Meet.
After posting a season-high 194.850 at home on Sunday, GW will look to translate its mid-season success into Friday night before heading into March. Leading George Washington last week were senior Deana Sheremeta who was awarded EAGL Gymnast of the Week and first-year Aspen Tucker who earned EAGL's Rookie of the Week. Sheremeta currently leads EAGL on floor and sits third on beam with her NQS score. Sophomore Lola Montevago currently sits third in EAGL on bars and sixth on beam.
The host Wolfpack have posted a season-high 197.125 and are most recently coming off a 196.575 performance against Stanford. New Hampshire, the reigning regular-season EAGL Champions, head to North Carolina after notching a 194.650 at LIU's quad meet. The Yale Bulldogs earned a new, season-high 195.525 on Sunday to take second in the Ivy Classic.Â
