Golf Opens Spring Season Sunday in Puerto Rico

WASHINGTON -Â GW golf is back on the course, beginning its four-tournament spring campaign at the Dorado Beach Collegiate in Puerto Rico on Sunday. The Buff & Blue will play 54 holes across three days with tee times starting at 7:30 a.m. ET on Sunday and Monday and 7 a.m. ET on Tuesday.

GW took part in six events during the fall semester, traveling to Japan, Arizona and Mexico, among others, in the process. GW's best finish came in its "home" event at the Monterrey Collegiate Classic in October when it fired a 2-under 862 to come in fifth. Manuel Barbachano placed sixth individually in the event and will lead the Buff & Blue into the spring season.
