Barbachano Set to Take Part in Genesis Invitational Collegiate Showcase Monday

WASHINGTON -Â GW golf's spring season begins on Monday as senior Manuel Barbachano will be one of 18 competitors on the course at the Genesis Invitational Collegiate Showcase. Tee times from Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, Calif., are set for 10-11:30 a.m. ET.

The showcase is a unique opportunity for a collegiate golfer to play their way into a PGA TOUR event while allowing university supporters to compete for a $50,000 donation to their golf program.Â
First held in 2015, the Collegiate Showcase will be contested for the 13th time in 2025. Former winners of the showcase include current PGA TOUR professionals Will Zalatoris and Sahith Theegala and current World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler.
Should Barbachano win, he will receive an automatic exemption into the 2026 Corales Puntacana Championship on the PGA Tour in April.
