Rowing Takes on Colgate and Boston University Saturday

WASHINGTON - GW rowing is off to Ithaca, N.Y., this weekend to take part in a double dual against Colgate and Boston University.

The Buff & Blue will row against the Raiders in the morning before coming back in the afternoon to take on the Terriers. GW's top boats will not race against Cornell, the host school, with the Big Red also squaring off against Colgate and Boston University.

LAST TIME OUT

GW retained its superiority over local rivals Georgetown and George Mason by winning both the George's Cup and Class of 1998 Cup in the season-opening event on Sunday. The Buff & Blue won the V8 race over the Hoyas and Patriots to claim the Class of 1998, which also served as the tiebreaker in the eventual team competition in the George's Cup.
