Rowing Tops Colgate, Falls to BU in Dual Meets

ITHACA, N.Y. - GW rowing continued its spring season on Saturday with a pair of dual meets as part of the Cayuga Duals in upstate New York.
The Buff & Blue swept its morning session from Colgate, topping the Raiders in all four head-to-head races. GW's 3V8 dropped its dual against Cornell in the morning. The V4 and 2V4 made impressive strides from last week's George's Cup performance, shaving off 21 and 38 seconds, respectively, from race-to-race
The afternoon proved a tougher task for George Washington as the Revolutionaries were swept by Boston University, who finished 19th at the NCAA Championships a year ago, in all four boats and the 3V8 fell once again to Cornell.
Up next, GW will be back on the water at the Saint Joseph's Invite next Saturday in Overpeck, N.J.
