Baseball Drops Series-Opener at Rhode Island

In a game with high wins throughout, GW opened the scoring on a triple from Conlon Walker to left-center. Scoring on the play was Jude Clough from first base on Rogan's first three-bagger of the season. The Revolutionaries doubled their lead later in the innings off a sacrifice bunt from Ty Acker. Rogan scored from third on the play to make it 2-0 GW.
The Rams proceeded to post eight runs over the next six innings to put away the game and star the season 4-0 in conference play. GW falls to 10-11 this season and 1-3 in the A-10. Michael Foltz Jr. was charged with the loss on the mound, pitching five innings and allowing four earned runs. Max Haug (two innings) and Drew Oppenheim (one inning) put up scoreless efforts out of GW's bullpen.
