Under the direction of Head Coach Terry Weir, the GW women will open the indoor track season on Friday at Marlins First Chance in Virginia Beach, Va. 

LAST TIME OUT
·      Last season, the Buff & Blue saw four indoor program records set, across the 60m dash, the 60m hurdles, the 4x400m relay and the 500m dash. Of GW's 2024-25 record setters, all but two return to the lineup for the 2025-26 winter season. 
·      At last year's conference championships, senior Sarah Mitchell paced GW with a second-place finish in the 5,000m. 

ON THE TRACK 
·      This Friday's track action at the Virginia Beach Sports Center is slated to begin at noon, and the Buff & Blue will make a showing in nine different events. GW's events will include the 5,000m run, the 60m hurdles, the 60m dash, the mile run, the 500m dash, the 300m dash, the 800m run, the 200m dash and the 3,000m run.
