Barahona Named A-10 Co-Golfer of the Week

WASHINGTON -Â GW junior Rodrigo Barahona was named the A-10 Co-Golfer of the Week for his performance in the season-opening Howard/USF Intercollegiate.
Barahona began his junior campaign with a runner-up finish at nearby Manor Country Club, firing a 4-under 206. The total score was the second-lowest of the Monterrey, Mexico's career and helped lead GW to the fifth-lowest team score in program history (853).
Barahona's 206 also tied for the fifth-best individual performance in program history. The Mexico native sandwiched a pair of even-par 70s around his 66 in Monday's second round to finish in a tie for second individually.
