Hrinda Named PING All-Region for Second-Straight Year

WASHINGTON -Â GW golf alumnus Jakub Hrinda has been named to the PING Division I All-Northeast Region team, it was announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America. Hrinda was also named All-Region last year, becoming the first multi-time honoree since Logan Lowe earned the accolade three times from 2017-19.
Hrinda couples the All-Region designation with a second-straight First Team All-Conference honor earned last month. He finished in a tie for 12th at the event, helping lead GW to its highest team finish in 12 years (2nd place).
Hrinda already announced his intention to turn pro this summer following a standout career with the Buff & Blue, where he holds the program records for lowest 18-, 36- and 54-hole score, ranks third all-time in career scoring average and won a pair of individual tournament championships.
