Water Polo Student-Athletes Honored with ACWPC All-Academic Awards

IRVINE, Calif. - Ten members of the George Washington University water polo team have earned the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) All-Academic Awards for the 2023 season.
The Revolutionaries had four members - Andrija Sekulic, Nik Schoening, Luca Castorina and Mateus Stellet - earn the distinction of superior (GPA between 3.70-3.41). Stellet and Sekulic earned ACWPC All-American honors for the second time in the last two years. For Castorina, it's the third time he has been honored with the distinction, and for Schoening it is the fourth time he has earned the honor.
GW had another six student-athletes earn the excellent designation (GPA between 3.40-3.20): Kalan Smith, Karim Nasr, Leo Lueddemann, Michael Fearon, Patrick McCann and Viktor Jovanovic. It's Jovanovic's third year and Smith's second year with ACWPC academic honors, while it's the first in the careers of Nasr, Lueddemann, Fearon and McCann.
