Five Career-High Scores Set at Towson Invite
WASHINGTON – The GW gymnastics team will visit Brookville, N.Y., on Sunday, Feb. 4 to face off in a dual meet against EAGL Opponent LIU at 2 p.m.
TOWSON INVITE RECAP
GW gymnastics scored a 195.175 at the Towson Invite on Friday in their first, first-place finish of the season. Penn came in second with a score of 194.550. Towson came in third with a score of 194.225, while William & Mary finished in fourth with a score of 190.500.
GW scored a 48.675 on bars, a 48.300 on beam, 49.100 on floor and a 49.100 on vault.
Kendall Whitman took first place on floor out of all performers with a score of 9.900. Kasey Burke placed first on vault with a career high score of 9.900. Anneliese Silverman placed first on beam with a score of 9.750. First-years Sophia Tyeryar and Delaney DeHaan placed first on bars, each with a career-high score of 9.800.

LIU placed second with a score of 192.825 in a home quad meet against UNH, Southern Connecticut and Yale on Sunday, Jan. 21.
