Opening draw scheduled for 11 a.m. at the Mount Vernon Lacrosse Field

WASHINGTON – GW women's lacrosse will host Canisius for a 11 a.m. opening draw Sunday at the Mount Vernon Lacrosse Field. Live coverage will be available on ESPN+.

SEASON OPENER RECAP
- Phoebe Mullarkey had a career-high five-point day.
- Mullarkey, Kleberg and Kessler all boasted hat tricks.
- GW held a 35-12 advantage in shots on goal and a 21-10 advantage on draw controls.
- In net, Mia Caro and Arden Bogle shared the keeper responsibilities, with Bogle making her first collegiate appearance in goal. Both finished the day with one save apiece.
- While netting three goals in the final 15 minutes of play, GW finished with 21 on the day, tied for the fifth-most in program history.

Canisius is coming off an even win-loss split 2023 season, going 8-8 in the regular season.
