WASHINGTON – Highlighted with five weekend home contests, the Atlantic 10 unveiled the conference schedule for the George Washington women's basketball team on Wednesday afternoon. In addition to five weekend home games, GW will host four mid-week matchups inside the Charles E. Smith Center.
The Buff & Blue get the conference slate started early this season, hosting DMV foe and local rival George Mason on Tuesday, Dec. 3. That game will take place during the heart of GW's non-conference schedule which was announced in early September.
After the early clash with the Patriots, GW won't see another A-10 opponent until Sunday, Dec. 29 when it travels to La Salle. GW's other road conference matchups include trips to Fordham (Wednesday, Jan. 8), Saint Louis (Wednesday, Jan. 15), George Mason (Saturday, Jan. 25), Massachusetts (Wednesday, Jan. 29), St. Bonaventure (Saturday, Feb. 8), Loyola Chicago (Wednesday, Feb. 12), Richmond (Wednesday, Feb. 19) and Rhode Island (Saturday, Mar. 1).
Following the New Year, GW's first home game is slated for Sunday, Jan. 5, when the Revolutionaries welcome Loyola Chicago to the DMV. GDUB will also host Duquesne (Saturday, Jan. 11), VCU (Wednesday, Jan. 22), Saint Joseph's (Saturday, Feb. 1), Fordham (Tuesday, Feb. 4), Dayton (Saturday, Feb. 15), Davidson (Sunday, Feb. 23) and Massachusetts (Wednesday, Feb. 26), who makes its final trip to the Smith Center as members of the A-10.
Following the regular season, the 2025 Atlantic 10 Championship is back in Henrico, Va., at the Henrico Sports & Events Center. The five-day event will open play on March 5, with the week culminating in the championship game on March 9.
Prior to the 2024-25 season, A-10 basketball will take over The District on Monday, Oct. 7, for Atlantic 10 Media Day. Watch all the coverage live on ESPN+ and hear from all 30 men's and women's head coaches as we build towards the start of the regular season.
